gosh.
while facebook has been known for crazy stuff, like the man who killed his wife for changing her status from 'married' to 'single', it's brought people closer for sure.
it's just a tad scary (yet impressive) when some people add you out of nowhere. cases in point for me this week would be:
(1) Mr Luk Hoi Yui!
considering he came from china, he's 70+, and he doesn't speak much English, that's amazing, big time
(2) Prof Robbie Goh
my thesis supervisor from NUS days, head of the department. i owe so much of my literary education to him! and gosh, if i may plagiarise his status update: "Robbie is reading Sherlock Holmes while eating -- alimentary, my dear Watson" hahhaaa... and you call me corny? =p
